United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization congratulates Junta de Castilla y León for the organisation of AR&PA Biennial
Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO, sent a written confirmation of the granting of patronage by the institution for the AR&PA Biennial of Heritage Restoration and Management and was pleased that the event “keeps in line with the priorities set by the Organization regarding the promotion of both tangible and intangible cultural heritage”. She also congratulated the Junta de Castilla y León and was convinced that “the event will help raise awareness about the importance of cultural heritage for experts, professionals and the general public”.
“I wish this significant international event every success and I sincerely remain at your disposal”, the Director-General added.
This reiteration of the trust placed by UNESCO, that supports the AR&PA Biennial since 2010, is great news and encourages us to continue improving during the 2016 tenth edition of AR&PA.
