Following Lisbon and Guimarães, this year the Fair will take place in Coimbra, more precisely at the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha, from 9 to 11 October 2015. Both the event and the international seminar will focus on the "Internationalisation of Heritage" and it will be attended by the General Director of Cultural Heritage at the Junta de Castilla y León, Enrique Saiz, who will present the European EVoCH Platform.

In addition to this, the Junta de Castilla y León, through the Department of Culture and Tourism, will also be present in the event with a stand which will have information about the Platform. It will also serve as a meeting point for all those interested in knowing more about the Platform and become part of it.

The Fair patrimonio.pt Millennium bcp was first held in 2013 and it is a pioneering event in Portugal aimed to promote the industry of Cultural Heritage as an asset that creates economic and social value, as has been the case of AR&PA in Spain since 1998.

This Heritage Fair is supported by Spira – pioneer company in framing the heritage supply in Portugal – and it is in line with similar more experienced events held in neighbouring countries as Spain, France, Italy or Germany.

Although its main goal is to gather together different stakeholders – public institutions, foundations, businesses, architecture and design firms, accommodation companies, tour operators,  territorially-based projects, companies devoted to conservation, restoration and urban rehabilitation, universities and centres for specialised training, among others – the Fair is also addressed to the general public.

Besides, this will be the first time the Fair will have a guest country – the United Arab Emirates.
