The EVoCH Platform continues to attract interesting members

The EVoCH Platform continues to attract interesting members to help it achieve its goals: the establishment of a powerful network in Europe to share information and good practices within our field, helping us to demonstrate the importance of cultural heritage to countries’ economies.

Apart from the promoter members (the Junta de Castilla y León in Spain, the Portuguese Secretariat of State for Culture, the European Association of Heritage Restoration Companies, the government of the Autonomous Region of Madrid, the Caja Madrid Foundation, the Tecnalia Research and Innovation Foundation, the Cartif Foundation and the Santa María la Real Foundation) and honorary members, such as the Norwegian Directorate for Heritage, the Italian associacion Assorestauro and Germany’s Culture and Work, the following entities have now also joined the Platform:

Some of the regular members have already started to submit information, which will be included on the Platform’s website. The platform encourage all members to send in indicators, data, examples of good practice and any other information that may be relevant to helping all achieve our goal.
This information should be classified according to the following categories:
- Best Practices: Case studies of best practices in cultural heritage that demonstrate the principles expressed in the Charter of Brussels, which each member of the EVoCH Platform can contribute within its own area of action.
- Employment: Data regarding the investment and return on investment of direct, indirect or induced employment created by EVoCH Platform entities or within their areas of action.
- GDP: Data regarding the investment and return on investment of the GDP contribution of EVoCH Platform entities or within their areas of action.
- Developing new regional skills: Development of new regional skills through investment in Cultural Heritage. Social integration, stability and employment qualifications, investment expectations, collective ownership, awareness-raising and education about Heritage, incorporation of R&D+i policies, etc.
- Activity Reports: Platform member activity reports.
- EVoCH documents: Documents to be developed by the EVoCH Platform and ordinary members
- Others: Other relevant documents.
