A large number of organisations and companies have confirmed that they will take part this year in AR&PA, which has become an essential event in the cultural heritage sector in Spain. India will be the first guest country at the AR&PA Biennial, a new initiative introduced in 2014 that will be repeated in future editions. A large delegation will attend the AR&PA, including the Indian Ambassador to Spain, the Mayor of Ahmedabad and representatives of one of India’s most important cultural heritage entities, the INTACH (Indian National Trust For Art and Cultural Heritage), which will lay on its exhibition “30 years of INTACH”.

This is a great opportunity to showcase India’s rich artistic and cultural heritage in Spain and Castilla y León, while also providing a platform for Indian heritage management organisations to learn how heritage is managed in Europe and vice versa, as well as harnessing associated business opportunities.
Other entities have also confirmed their attendance at AR&PA, including institutions such as the Spanish Institute of Cultural Heritage, the Directorate General of Heritage of the Community of Madrid (regional government), the National Research Centre on Human Evolution, ICOMOS Mexico, the Santa María la Real Foundation and the the Regional Directorate of Culture of the North of Portugal and Valsousa – rota do Románico (Romanesque route).

Several companies will also attend the Fair, such as Kimia, Portal Forá, Grupo Puma and Spira from Portugal, as well as ARESPA, the umbrella association for heritage restoration companies in Spain.
AR&PA 2014 will once again include programs focusing on Employment, Innovation, Initiatives and Museums.

We are pleased to already have attendance confirmation from entities such as Alternativa Arte from Italy, the Association of Friends of Renault Spain, the Association of Friends of Villamorón, the Association of Friends of the Salamanca bridges, the Cultyocio Association, ACRE (Spanish Association of Conservation-Restoration Professionals), GIHEC (Historical and Ethnographic Research Group), Friends of the Romanesque, the City Council of Machacón and ARS Civilis.
