UNESCO congratulates the Junta de Castilla y León for the organisation of AR&PA Biennial
In its letter, UNESCO congratulates the Junta de Castilla y León “for the organisation of this unique Spanish and multidisciplinary event that brings together researchers and experts in the conservation, protection, and management of Cultural Heritage. During the AR&PA Biennial many activities are proposed to help participants understand the importance of preserving and maintaining cultural heritage for future generations. This objective, and the event in general, is completely in accordance with UNESCO’s objectives and efforts regarding raising awareness of the potential of cultural heritage. As the Biennial is consistent with the objective of promoting and preserving cultural heritage, UNESCO is pleased to provide its patronage to the 2014 edition of the AR&PA Biennial for Heritage Restoration and Management.”
