Iberian Biennial of Cultural Heritage
Iberian Biennial of Cultural Heritage
No other event in Spain is quite like the Iberian Biennial of Cultural Heritage. Thanks to its vast exhibition space and the opportunities offered for networking among sector professionals, plus a huge array of specialist activities and community events, the Biennial is at the cutting edge of its field in Europe.
Due to circumstances arising for the Covid-19 health crisis, this year’s Iberian Biennial of Cultural Heritage will be fully available in a special digital format titled AR&PA 2.0. The aim? To maintain our USP as a networking hub and reflection forum for professionals and institutions engaged in the field of the stewardship and management of Cultural Heritage.
Held between November 26th to November 28th 2020, AR&PA 2.0 will explore the theme of Resilience in Cultural Heritage via a digital platform.
The online format of the Iberian Biennial of Cultural Heritage AR&PA 2.0 will feature a virtual platform with all the latest tools required for users to interact and work together. AR&PA 2.0 will feature, as in previous years, the AR&PA Fair, AR&PA Forum and the AR&PA International Projects Prizes for Architecture students. The use of Information and Communication Technology will make the AR&PA 2.0 a fulfilling experience for the public, and retain the essence of AR&PA as a hub for networking and business for sector professionals and institutions.
Usually, the Iberian Biennial of Cultural Heritage AR&PA organises a range of activities and programmes open to the public and to sector professionals and institutions. We are offering a modified version of these during our online edition, in line with our enduring concern to highlight Cultural Heritage.
