AR&PA 2008: Heritage rendez-vous at the Feria de Valladolid

From 30 October to 2 November, Valladolid will host the 6th Edition of the AR&PA Heritage Art and Restoration Fair, a meeting point and discussion forum for professionals and institutions involved in protecting, curating, conserving, restoring and managing cultural heritage, and open to all those interested in understanding the importance of preserving and maintaining cultural heritage for future generations.

Launched in 1998, AR&PA has become consolidated over the years as a growing prestigious biennial event in the fields of heritage restoration, conservation and management, leading the Spanish sector.

In this 2008 edition, the Junta de Castilla y León, which organises the event, aims to further strengthen the quality of the exhibited projects, and to increase international participation, with the goal of attaining greater leadership in this field, not only within Spain but also abroad.

Besides the exhibitions by institutions, companies, craftspeople and other specialised sectors in the field, AR&PA will welcome once again several presentations and technical workshops, the AR&PA Restoration Awards and the international conference “Restoring Memory”, which will this year focus on “Heritage Management: towards a sustainable approach”.
