AR&PA Biennial launches the AR&PA Innovation initiative in close liaison with the European Commission

AR&PA Innovation is an initiative organised by the Spanish Castilla y León Regional Authority, in close liaison with the European Commission and Labein-Tecnalia Research Centre
Content:
This is an innovative new initiative for the 2010 edition of the 7th AR&PA Biennial with the purpose of consolidating the Castilla & León Regional Authority aimed at constant renovation and internationalisation of the Biennial.
The objective of this initiative is to provide a contact point for researchers that have developed prototypes with potential end users, such as companies, institutions, public bodies and professionals.
AR&PA, the reference trade fair for the sector in Europe, has been chosen as the ideal backdrop for these interchanges, and the ideal event to launch the new AR&PA Innovation.
AR&PA Innovation will be held on 11, 12, 13 & 14th November 2010, and will include the following activities:
A demonstration area for the exhibition of prototypes and technologies developed as part of European Commission research projects
Thematic workshops and training activities regarding issues such as exploitation and distribution of research results and products, primarily aimed at researchers in order to promote innovation in SMEs.
Expert evaluation and AR&PA Innovation Awards.
